“Went with my mom who was visiting Canada for the first time. It was very disappointing that everyone in the group was Chinese, and the tour guide was speaking only in their language, all food stops are meant for them at Cantonese restaurants, the stop at Kelowna was 0% worth it, I have been many times and love the area but this time it was very sad because instead of showing the vineyards and wine country they take people to this warehouse style vineyard and te factory (again, meant for the culture that seems to join them often). I will say, if you are Chinese you will love it. But…”

The small group of 14 travelers from different parts of the world, together with our vibrant & energetic tour guide, Richelle, made this weeklong trip worth our time and money. We had spectacular views of mountains, lakes, waterfalls and glaciers along the way. The hotel accommodations were great, and they're right in the middle of these beautiful towns. “First things first, we booked this excursion in English. The tour guide Hugo barely spoke any of it and the little he did was unintelligible. To the point that the other English speaking guests commented the same to us. Most of the tour was in Chinese! Thank God we did not paid for the meal plan as it is basically Chinese food. Bring snacks and be mindful you will not have great meals as the stops don’t give you enough time to find a restaurant or somewhere to eat. The bus was ok, no blinds, no internet. However the driver 5 stars! He new way more than the guide and…”

“Viator booked us on a Chinese tour unbeknownst to us where we got no narration in English even though there were 8 English speaking travelers. When I asked I was told because 85% were Chinese. It was discouraging listening for 40 minutes of laughing and clapping. We sometimes got one sentence in English. We were pressured to buy the meal plan which I'm so glad we didn't. They stopped at Chinese restaurants for lunch and dinner every day. I tried to explain I have celiac but we were told we need to get fast food when we stopped if we didn't get the meal plan. There were very few options…”

People joining this tour came from different countries who are much younger than us; but quickly all of us enjoyed the tour together as a team. There were long bus journeys each day, short sleeps each night and lots of trail walks and photo-taking opportunities. All in all, it was an enjoyable and unforgettable life experience.”
